What is Everyday Count!

In Fresno Unified, "Everyday Counts" is a district-wide initiative that emphasizes the importance of consistent attendance for student success. It's a reminder that each day of school is a building block for a child's future, and that regular attendance is crucial for academic progress and developing life skills. 

Fresno Unified School District is committed to:

  • Working with students and their families to ensure that all students attend school regularly
  • Understanding there are a variety of factors that may influence school attendance and helping families to overcome issues-barriers
  • Providing strength-based and culturally appropriate interventions and services including:
  1. Case management
  2. Individual and group counseling
  3. Home visits
  4. Parent education
  5. Referrals to school/ community-based resources

  • Community Based Referrals
  • Mental Health Services
